Biography
Visda Goudarzi is a music technologist working at听the intersection of audio and human-computer interaction.听She is an Associate Professor of Audio Arts and Acoustics at 糖心vlog官方入口app and worked as the principal investigator (PI) for the Austrian funded project (Collaborative Creativity as a Participatory Tool for Interactive Sound Creation) at Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics ()听in Graz, Austria. Prior to Columbia College she worked as an artistic and scientific researcher at IEM Graz, Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics () at Stanford University, and Vienna University of Technology.听Her research听interests include auditory interfaces, interactive and participatory design, sound and music computing, live coding, and听data sonification.You can find some of her academic publications in the field of sound and music computing听. Beyond her academic pursuits, she enjoys performing live electronics听as a member of 听and in live-coding events with fellow artists such as .听She finds joy in pushing the boundaries of sonic experimentation.
Dr. Goudarzi holds a Ph.D. in Sound and Music Computing from (IEM) at University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Masters degree in Music, Science, and Technology from (CCRMA) at Stanford University, and a Masters degree in Computer Science from Human Computer Interaction Group at Technical University of Vienna.
