Biography
kClare McKellaston is a Adjunct Faculty member and full time Costume Shop Manager with the School of Theatre and Dance.​ÌýHer design work includes In Every Generation (Victory Gardens), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Music Theatre Works), Peyton Place, At Home At the Zoo, The Playboy of the Western World (City Lit), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Broken Glass, Scarcity, The Cripple of Inishmaan (Redtwist), Sycamore, The Old Friends (Raven Theatre), Spamalot, Young Frankenstein, The Last Five Years, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Metropolis).

She was previously an Adjunct Faculty member and the Costume Shop Manager at Dominican University, where she designedÌýWaiting for Godot, Songs for A New World,ÌýandÌýThe Addams Family Musical. She has mentored and guided student designers, as well as serving as a member of portfolio review panels for senior students in the Fashion and Theatre Department.Ìý

In November 2019, kClare joined the team of artists and creators at Lookingglass Theatre Company as their Costume Shop Manager. This job was cut short by the Covid-19 Pandemic.ÌýThis provided a pivot--in 2021, she joined the first season filming ofÌýThe Shining Girls,Ìýand at the same time became a proud member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) Local 769. She has worked as a Set Costumer and Background Costumer, Stylist, and Backstage Dresser for a number of productions, including The Lion King,ÌýThe Prom, the Dancing with the Stars Tour,ÌýJustified: City Primeval, andÌýWe Grown Now ().Degrees
